As a day care center, Marks of Excellence previously known as Tutor Time, has been situated in North Amityville since opening its doors in 1997. We are a licensed Day Care with a capacity for 161 children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years. Our school age children are provided with before and after school care, and full day care when the school districts are closed. We also offer an exciting, fun-filled Summer Camp Program during the months of July and August.

​Our children are provided with an age appropriate curriculum which includes weekly themes incorporating literacy, math, science, music and social studies. We do this with the use of a Circle Time, arts and crafts, free play, finger plays, stories, experiments, charts, counting activities, manipulatives and puzzles and outside play. The three and four year olds also concentrate on letter recognition and letter writing in preparation for kindergarten.
