Airloom Oriental Rug Washing has an approach to washing rugs that combines old world craftsmanship with state of the art technology. Using patented tools and equipment designed specifically for washing oriental rugs, our unique system utilizes the simple elements of air, water, detergent and agitation to provide an internal structural washing of natural and synthetic fibers. Our 16 ft wide and 20 ft long wash pit has four separate inflatable chambers which allow us to wash rugs in 500 gallons of fresh, soft water. In addition, our special diamond wash grid keeps the rugs elevated in the water free from making contact with the debris that has separated from the rug. This special washing system gives us a further benefit of greater flexibility while rolling, flexing and purging soil from the rug.
